No Country For Young Men

This cougar craze is getting ridiculous. In the past month, I’ve been hit on by nothing but early 20 somethings. My gays and my girls are all telling me I should go for it (cause they’re all pervs), but all I can think is EEEEEEWWWWWWWW. They tell me I should be flattered, but again… EEEEEWWWWWW.
The thought sets my stomach to lurching. I don’t make enough money to be somebody’s sugar momma and I don’t have enough patience to teach a kid. Man, if I’d wanted kids I would have popped one out years ago. Even having been celibate for the past year isn’t making being with a kid appealing (and believe me, I really need some sexual healing… a reference a 20 something wouldn’t get)
Apparently it’s supposed to make you feel younger, but it only serves to make me feel so much OLDER… I mean, really, if you have to waste your breath telling some kid who Simon and Garfunkle are and why they’re so cool, how does that make you feel younger? EXASPERATING.
As it’s the week before I turn 43, I do find it ironic that all of a sudden I’m getting all this attention from the young ones, when all I really want is some time with someone my own age. I’d say the universe is trying to tell me something, but I prefer to think it’s testing my resolve.
So here’s to you Mrs Robinson, more power to you, but, as it seems I’m allergic to young men, I say KOO KOO ACHOO.
