What to do With No Porn
Sunday: Remember I warned you that the weekend was largely porn free. Sunday was kind of the capper. I took a drive down towards San Diego so that my son could spend the day with his great-grandparents. They like to have him for the whole day and that leaves me with nothing to do. I guess I could have gone to a movie or visited with friends, but I had a lot of work to do. So I went looking for a place to hang out and do some writing. I was amazed at how much Escondido has changed since I lived (near) there. The center where my family owned our video store is still there. None of the businesses are the same, but it’s still standing. The mall where I had my first job has been torn down. There is a Home Depot where it used to stand. I settled in at a Carl’s Jr. and spent a few hours banging out a new script. It needs some work, but I may have to shoot this one over to a few people. As I spent the day driving around, checking out the places I grew up it struck me just how much things have changed. The dairy that was just over the hill from my home is now a state of the art high school. I’m not sure why I got off on the tangent actually. It just seems strange to me how much a town can change when you aren’t looking.

Chasey Train Wreck: By now I’m sure a lot of you have seen the new Chasey Lain videos over on Youtube. In case you haven’t they are below. Just a few days ago, Les suggested I run a “what they are doing now” segment on the site. Well here you go. Here is what Chasey Lain is doing now. Sorry for the spoilers, but some things have to be addressed here. First, these are edited videos so we only get one possible side of the story. I don’t know Donny or Chasey so I don’t have a horse in this race. Let’s be as fair as possible. Anyone who controls the edits on a video. It is completely possible that Donny edited out any footage that showed him in a bad light. On the other hand we can certainly comment on what we do see. What this video shows is Chasey in an extremely altered state. (On what, I leave that to you to guess.) She sits in the make up chair acting like a diva with so much attitude that it is a wonder she wasn’t kicked off the set early on. Her initial argument over hard core stills might have some merit. There certainly are producers who make extra cash selling hard core stills separate from the video shoot. However, she gets obsessed with this and won’t stop even after the issue has been settled. There is no doubt that the video shows a women who is acting in an unprofessional manner, is ready to lash out at everyone and clearly has a substance abuse problem. It also show Chasey looking beat to hell. Back in her heyday, Chasey was IMHO one of the prettiest women working in porn. (Though her scenes rarely reached the level of lukewarm in terms of sexual heat.) She had perhaps the prettiest eyes we have ever seen. She also had a lovely, curvy body. Those things are gone. She looks painfully skinny in all the wrong places, her eyes look dead and there is something seriously fucked up about her teeth. When I first saw these videos, I wondered why anyone would hire Chasey at this point. I know she has the name, but she looks like absolute hell. It’s kind of sad actually. Ironically it has been picked up on by Shelly Lubben as a cautionary tale. According to her, this is what happens to porn stars. Well folks this is NOT what happens to all porn stars. It is what happens to some though, especially some with (allegedly) serious drug problems. So, what do you guys think?
