Dan Calls Donny’s Motivation “Pure Selfishness”

It seems that the Donny Long/Chasey Lain video is still sparking strong feelings. The following is an email I got from Dan after I asked follow up questions about the Donny/Chasey Youtube videos. I wondered what you all thought of Donny’s motivation for posting the videos. Dan has some very strong feelings about that.

Dan Writes:

Hi Rog! Just wanted to add my two cents about Donny Long airing the Chasey Lain video-His motivation is pure selfishness-Its all about him-he has to prove that he is always right, even at the expense of an obviously internally wounded person like Chasey Lain. She needs help and that is not his intention-his is to humiliate and degrade-he just showed his kiss ass pal Gene Ross another tape of Carly Parker refusing to do a MILF scene for him-again the motivation- to prove he is right and all else are wrong -what a dick…Dan

Rog Replies: Thank you for your reply and your honest take on this. I don’t know Donny personally and only know what I have head on his site. Certainly he isn’t someone who is opposed to saying and doing outrageous things to get noticed. We all know that Donny is always ready for an internet battle and I can see why he put these clips up. Some industry people have emailed suggesting that if Donny wanted to warn other producers against using Chasey, that there are more appropriate forums for that. Clearly he was looking to humiliate Chasey and get some attention. (Nothing wrong with the latter by the way, that IS the name of the game after all.) I read the story on Gene’s site and Donny is doing it again. I think he has a right to do this though. It may not be the most mature way to handle things, but no one ever said that the porn world was a bastion for mature behavior. I’d like to invite Donny to tell his side of the story. Perhaps he can shed some light on his motivation.
