This is a really well done feature that I fear might get lost come awards time. It isn’t a big flashy release that everyone will be talking about for months. It isn’t filled with special effects or costumes or even lavish locations. It’s just a really nicely written script. It is also an all-black feature that has some depth to it. I shouldn’t say that like it’s a rare thing in XXX, but let’s face it, it is. This is a dialog-driven film that also happens to feature some really hot sex. The story follows a number of characters who are intertwined. It’s a bit of a soap opera, but it also works at times as a nice romance. There are devoted couples like Tyler Knight and Osa Lovely who keep the flames of passion alive despite busy schedules and conflicting work interests. There are cheating couples like Prince Yashua and Misty Stone who find pleasure in groupies (Prince has fun with Chanell Heart and Yasmine De Leon) or revenge (Misty’s romp with Eddie J is the hottest scene of the bunch.) The other scenes are good as well. I liked the way this movie was directed with great lighting, nice set ups and good sex. It’s very solid with some great performances.
