So Much Going On
With Erotica LA going on this weekend, I had planned to spend a couple of days there taking pictures, catching up on interviews and doing all that fun stuff. Instead I’m catching up on blogging from home and cranking out the interviews. Long story, but the lack of a pass and being sick as hell just kind of took Erotica LA off the table for me. First I screwed up on my press registration. I did it months ago and never bothered to check until the other night. Registration was already closed and they didn’t have mine. Not the end of the world. A few people offered passes at first, but that fell through as well. Two nights ago I was up all night coughing and Friday night my son was really bad off with a respiratory infection so I was up with him all night. So I just didn’t have it in me to head up to LA and wait in line to sort of the registration stuff. I know, I suck. No photos and trust me I’m upset about that. On the other hand I got some sleep today and pounded out four reviews so that’s a plus. Sorry about that guys. Maybe I can but some other people for pictures. I just wasn’t up to it this week.

Adam Lambert: OK So earlier in the week Adam came out in a magazine interview. That’s right folks, Adam Lambert is gay. First, so what? Seriously, who honestly gives a fuck who he likes to fuck? Beyond the giant who cares factor how about this reaction. No fucking shit Sherlock! Acting like this is news is just hilarious. Yeah, Adam’s gay. And water is wet and the sky is up. Seriously, how can someone come out of the closet when he was never in to begin with?

HIV Story: This story has been all over the other sites and I have been reading along with you. I’ve been short on stories on this for two reasons. First, I’m buries with reviews and these other projects. Second, I’m waiting to see how it plays out before I jump in too hard. There is plenty to discuss, lots of blame to pass around and a whole lot of information that we just don’t have yet. If any of you have anything to say, send it over and we can start the discussion. What do you suggest people do to stop this problem? Is it just part of the business? Would you buy all-condom porn? Should there be an investigation into AIM? What about those 16 positive tests that we didn’t know about? Were they shuffled off somewhere? I’m open to any discussion so long as we stay respectful and avoid too much speculation.

Stoya: Speaking of things we dare not speculate on, everyone is saying that Stoya is out at Digital Playground. Every time I open my mouth about a DP contract girl I get in trouble. (By the way, where IS Shay Jordan these days?) This one has been tossed around quite a bit and even making the mainstream. Apparently she’s been dating Marilyn Manson. (Is he STILL around?) There was even a story about him shaving a swastika into Stoya’s pubes. Is it me or does that sound like a story so intentionally stupid that it is either a lame attempt to get attention or just dumb enough to be true? Either way, it worked. We’re talking about Manson again. It would be a shame if Stoya were to leave Digital. They have really promoted her heavily in the past year. Maybe it’s time for some new blood. I’m sure they have their next four girls lined. Assuming that all these rumors are in fact true. I know better than to assume that these days.

Extreme: I probably should have known better, but I have added a lot of banner links to Extreme’s web sites over the past year. I replaced all the old Max Hardcore banners with them and the pay site was converting really well. Just about the time I thought they should be sending a check, the whole webmaster site is down. Their Extreme Cash Cow site is down, the main site is also gone. Extreme VIP is there with no web master program. Hopefully it is a momentary mess up, but somehow I have my doubts.

Gone, But Not Forgotten: In addition to possibly losing Stoya and the already mentioned Shay Jordan, two of my favorite porn girls have left the business recently. Whitney Stevens and Andi Anderson are gone, at least for now. Neither of them made a big deal. Whitney just changed her MySpace page which is how I found out. I’m hoping she comes back. The porn world needs more wide-eyed Jewish girls with out of this world tits. Besides, she STILL owes us Rog Rules T shirt shots. And she said I was hot. (OK, I know that was bullshit, but it sounded so nice when she said it. I choose to play dumb on that.) Andi and I have spoken a few times a week for almost a year. She didn’t make a big deal, but went back home a while back. Not sure if she plans to return. She isn’t offering answers and I’m not pushing. She also STILL owes us Rog Rules T Shirt pics and I’m hoping I can still get those toy reviews from her. I don’t know about you, but I will really miss both Whitney and Andi. It is rare to find a woman as hot as Andi. She does it all, talks dirty and honestly guys, is one of the nicest people I have met in the industry. I wish them both well and hope that if they decide to return that they will break out the T-Shirts and grace us with some shots.
