What if I told you there was a high-quality porn studio that offered free original 4K porn with no advertisements. And it’s actually pretty good porn. Impossible? It was, until May 1st when Fucking Awesome (FuckingAwesome.com) launched, turning paysite model on its head.

Free HD porn. When I read the press release, I had but one thought. How is this possible? I sat down with Brad John, Fucking Awesome’s CMO to get to the bottom of this too-good-to-be-true project.

Patrick Parker: First off, let me congratulate you on the launch. I spend an obscene amount of money on paysites and your content is easily on par with places I gladly dish out my hard earned cash for. Good work so far.

Brad John: Thank you, our goal is to produce high quality content and based on feedback we seem to have hit the mark. What you see so far is just the start and we already have some big names lined up to shoot with us.

PP: How did you come up with the name Fucking Awesome? There’s got to be a story there!

BJ: When we first came up with the idea for the project the word “Awesome” kept popping up and by the time we were done polishing the idea we felt there was only one way to describe what we were about to build, Fucking Awesome!

PP: What inspired you take this radical approach to porn distribution?

BJ: We have been in the adult industry for 20 years and have done everything from pay sites to free tubes so we wanted to build something unique, something that would give the fans what they want while building a brand with some of the most talented producers and stars in the industry.

PP: So what’s the deal here? Full length 4K porn. Big name stars. Most of the benefits of a member site. But freely available with no ads? How is this possible?

BJ: The million dollar question everyone is asking. We do have several premium features coming to the site. While the site as you see it now will remain free, we do feel the premium features will bring value to the fans and give them access to content that is unique. For now though, our main focus is building an awesome brand.

PP: What’s the catch?

BJ: There is no catch what you see is what you get and as we said, we will introduce premium sections and features in the future.

PP: Most, if not all successful paysites leverage affiliate marketing programs to promote their brand. Since you are quite literally free, how do you motivate bloggers and social mavens to promote your brand?

BJ: We feel that by providing the industry with something unique and building a solid product the bloggers and social mavens will come on their own. We also feel that our loyal fans will help to promote the brand by sharing the content on the major social platforms.

PP: In a press release, you wrote “This will absolutely revolutionize the online adult entertainment industry” What’s your vision of streaming porn in say, five years?

BJ: We feel that the fans are already looking for ways to connect with their favorite stars, as well as watch quality content. We aim to be a one stop shop so to speak providing the community with great content and the ability to interact with the stars in ways that are not being done right now.

PP: Industry insiders often blame free tube sites for low sales and profits. In what way is Fucking Awesome different?

BJ: Having experience with both free tube sites and paid sites, we are no stranger to the changes in the industry and as with other companies, we had to adapt. Fucking Awesome will be a blend between the two and will offer the community unique content along with social features allowing them to connect with their favorite stars.

PP: Tell me about your team — what sort of background do you have?

BJ: We have two members of the executive each with 20 years experience in online and offline adult entertainment and the parent company behind Fucking Awesome.com has been involved with many big hits in the adult space over the years.

PP: Who are your directors? Where else have we seen their work?

BJ: We work with several big name directors. At the moment we can not disclose who they are because they are working on some very unique projects which we want to remain secret for now.

PP: I notice Fucking Awesome lets you build a profile when you sign up. What sort of community features do you have planned?

BJ: We are really looking for people to engage and share their love for our porn by commenting and voting on the content, giving us insight into what the fans really want to see. We also plan on releasing some features that will allow our community to choose who they want to see shoot with us and even the style of content. Other features in the works will allow the fans to interact with the stars and even include giveaways.

PP: So far, the site contains video content and a blog, what other plans do you have? Perhaps photo galleries?

BJ: We are happy to say high quality photo galleries are coming live within a week or two, other than that we have lots of exciting things planned so stay tuned.

PP: It’s only been a few weeks since launch, but have you been happy with the reception so far?

BJ: The reception has been very positive both from big critics and fans and we plan to continue pleasing our fans with awesome content.

PP: Do you have a favorite scene to date and why was it Ashley Adams?

BJ: Ashley Adams, she is not only beautiful but has a way to really connect with her fans. In saying that, we have hand picked each of the girls we shoot with for similar reasons and plan to keep producing great content with amazing stars such as Valentina Nappi, August Ames and Abella Anderson, just to name a few.
