Blog: Weekend of Whatever
I actually have a few minutes this afternoon to breathe so I wanted to just write about…whatever. Lots of non-porn stuff here. Hope you’ll forgive me.
Comics: This weekend is the big San Diego Comic Book Con. I have a number of friends who are down there enjoying themselves. I wish I could be there with you guys and some day I’ll make it. It’s got to be a really great time.
Eye Candy: Some porn chicks look like they were born to be comic book heroines. Memphis Monroe is just such a babe. Wow.
HIV Case: I keep meaning to write more about this, but there just doesn’t seem to be much to say. People made mistakes. Who? We still don’t know. How many people were exposed? We still don’t know. The mainstream media had its way with the story and left everyone hanging. Gee, they aren’t interested in telling the truth about the industry? What a shock. Is the industry doing everything it can to protect performers? Well of course not. We all know the Surgeon General’s guidelines and every single one of them is broken every time we watch a porn flick. There’s no judgment there, it’s just a fact. We could do more, but what would that do to the product? Is HIV the inevitable outcome for an industry that trades in high risk sex? That’s a frightening question isn’t it? Is the risk to great? Yet another frightening question. There are still so many more questions than answers on this issue. More to write and of course I leave it open to you as porn fans to chime in. Something to think about for sure.
Eye Candy: Here’s another comic book body. Shyla Stylez showing off her awesome curves.
Legal Pot? Hey folks write this down. Barney Frank is right. And so is Ron Paul. That’s right two of my favorite nutters in congress are backing a doomed movement to push a legalize-pot bill through the House. It stands as much as of passing as either of these men stand to win a Presidential primary, but at least the issue is on the table. It’s also being discussed in California as a way to help fix our huge deficit problem. It won’t pass of course, but at least people are open to the idea of bringing legalization up. It’s been a long time since we’ve talked about this issue. I know that a lot of readers disagree with me, but I’m all for legalizing pot and other narcotics. It shocks some people more to know that I have never smoked pot and really have no desire to do so. I just don’t think it’s any business of mine what you smoke in your own home. It certainly isn’t the business of the Federal Government to criminalize a freaking plant. No point is ranting about it now, but I just wanted to say that Frank and Paul are absolutely right on this one.
Eye Candy: Some days it’s good to be Mike John. Any day when you get to do a POV with someone like Lela Star is a very good day.
Prime Time NFL Draft: So the NFL has decided that we all love the draft so much that two days on the weekend just isn’t enough. They are moving the first couple of rounds to a prime time Thursday night slot. That sounds insane to me on the surface, but 39 million people watched the draft this year. That’s a whole lot of people sitting around watching a show. I’ll admit I check out the draft, but it really seems to have become this huge thing that I just don’t get. Maybe it’s my age show. When I really cared, we didn’t have the internet or 24/7 cable networks to tear the draft into little pieces. I read about my favorite team in the paper the next day and maybe got a list of the first round picks in the sports section. Will it be a big hit on TV? Hell, they televise celebrity poker tournaments so you have to figure this will do all right.
Eye Candy: Want something football related that I would watch from start to finish? Asa Akira learns football and then fucks her coach until he’s dry as a bone.
Forum: Lots of new topics up for discussion on the Forum. Swing by, sign up an take part in the conversation. Come on over and discuss porn, politics, movies, sports and whatever else strikes your fancy.
