Docu-Porn Hybrid ‘I Am Katrina’ First Evil Angel Films Release Reveals Irrepressible Starlet Via DVD, VOD & EvilAngel.com

Evil Angel is combining hardcore entertainment with genuine documentary filmmaking in a single movie that exposes the backstage reality and onstage madness of emerging XXX superstar Katrina Jade. The first installment of “I Am Katrina” debuts October 15 on EvilAngel.com, with remaining Webisodes coming on the 20th, 25th and 30th of the month. October 30 is also the day the entire movie premieres on DVD. “I Am Katrina” is already a top seller on VOD, where it was released in time for awards consideration. “I Am Katrina” creator Evil Chris, also known as Evil Angel Vice President of Product Chris Gentile, directed the movie’s journalistic documentary segments, and four of the company’s distinctive filmmakers contributed signature hardcore scenes. “This was an exercise in extending what porn can be,” says Gentile. “Porn girls have unique stories, and ‘I Am Katrina’ brings an interesting one to light.”

Gentile’s camera captures Jade on a visit to her hometown and goes behind the scenes, showing XXX biz operations and candid backstage interviews. Viewers follow her onto the sets of pornographers Jonni Darkko, LeWood, Aiden Starr and Evil Angel founder John Stagliano, and then see the resulting scenes. It all adds up to four hours of docu-porn reality, a cinematic look at a real person’s private and very public personae.
