Mercenary Pictures Owner Wraps Shooting of ‘The Lexington Steele Show’
CANOGA PARK, Calif. — Lexington Steele, owner of Mercenary Pictures,
three time AVN Male Performer of the Year and multiple Hall of Famer,
wrapped the shooting of the pilot for his mainstream/adult program,
“The Lexington Steele Show.”
Mainstream personalities, including Glenn Plummer, featured in FX’s
“Sons of Anarchy,” Stilts from “The Love of Ray J” and founder of
The Urban X Awards, DJ SynCity, and comedian Thomas Ward, who also
appeared in “Not the Cosby Show XXX,” were on hand for the shoot.
Adult stars Janet Mason, Jada Fire, Sophie Dee, Nyomi Banxxx, Evan
Stone, Mr. Marcus, Marco Banderas and Lee Bang were also featured.
Banderas also performed “Porno Life,” his salsa single, live on “The
Lexington Steele Show” with dancers Bridget B and Charisma.
“I’m really excited to be here and to talk to Lex,” Mason said during
the taping of “The Lexington Steele Show.”
“This a very cool idea,” noted X-rated director Alexander DeVoe said.
“I hope he’s very successful with it.”
Steele, the host and star of Playboy TV’s “Lex In The City,” produced
“The Lexington Steele Show” pilot independently and will shop the show
to mainstream cable networks early next year.
“This puts it in position for the time of year networks consider new
shows,” he said. “The pilot will be edited and completed in time for
introduction to major markets by Jan. 2010. The next year will be huge
for Lexington Steele.
“For years I have been a part of the marriage of mainstream and adult
entertainment. Bridging the gap between the two is my primary
intention. This show will celebrate the personalities of XXX stars and
feature icons from every facet of entertainment. The time to establish
this concept with a broader audience is now. I look forward to making
this show a platform for our whole industry, not just a platform to
increase my own popularity.”
