Hollywood, CA ” Playboy centerfolds will be doing their dance routine. Penthouse centerfolds will be playing with their band. The Contestants with the highest number of votes on The 1 Contest web site (www.The1Contest.com), which has already received over 5,000,000 hits, will compete on Wednesday, February 17 at the world famous Highlands Club in Hollywood, California to become the first The 1 Star. The winner at the live event will be eligible to compete to be The 1 Star Of The Year.
Judged by celebrities and entertainment executives, the girls will compete in talent performances, runway modeling, and questions from the judges. The host will be “Operation Repo” star and comedian Lou Pizarro. The judges will be from the television, movie and music worlds.
A risqué Miss USA Contest meets America’s Got Talent, The 1 Contest is a unique beauty and talent competition based on beauty, personality, physique and talent which is “R” rated, and the monthly winners get to work with Hollywood entertainment professionals to film a segment of their talent. Almost 40 of the incredible contestants and their celebrity friends will be present at The 1 Contest’s exclusive event.
Contestants include the Star of a TV series, beauty contest winners, professionals in the surfing, wrestling and motorcycle racing world, Playboy and Penthouse centerfolds, and many others. New contestants will be added all the time. Those who exude the rare combination of dare-devil, risk-taking and moxie are encouraged to enter the competition and showcase their skill set ” whether it be singing, dancing, acting, dirt bike riding, flame throwing, surfing, etc. Whatever the talent, a famed panel of judges spanning almost every aspect of the entertainment industry will be on hand to determine if contestants have what it takes to be the next THE 1.
Michael London, well known Hollywood Attorney, movie producer, music video producer and director, record company owner and rock concert promoter created the website and contest as a platform to increase visibility for those encountering the ‘catch 22’ starting out in the entertainment industry. “I wanted to provide the launching pad and ultimate platform to increase visibility for multi-talented women with unique creativity blended with true inner beauty,” says London.
Each month a winner will be chosen to compete in the final competition. Monthly winners receive $1000 and a video shoot within their talent genre shot by industry professionals. The annual winner receives up to $20,000.
