‘EMMA MARX: EVOLVED,’ ‘LESBIAN EXPERIENCE’ EARN TOP NOMS FOR 2018 XRCO AWARDS!
NOMINATIONS INCLUDE BEST RELEASE, BEST GIRL/GIRL SERIES!
New Sensations/Digital Sin has received nominations for the 2018 XRCO Awards in the categories for Best Release for “The Submission of Emma Marx: Evolved” and Best Girl/Girl Series for “The Lesbian Experience.”
“The Submission of Emma Marx: Evolved” marks the return of the multi-award winning franchise, opening a new chapter in the life of Emma Marx — one of adult cinema’s most enthralling and complex protagonists, now on her own and taking charge of her first submissive.
Celebrated writer and director Jacky St. James, nominated this year for Best Director (Features), is once again at the helm with Penny Pax, reprising her iconic role as Emma Marx, and newcomer Violet Starr, making her feature acting debut as Emma’s sub, Mariah.
“XRCO has always supported my work since I first entered the business seven years ago,” Jacky St. James said. “The ‘Emma Marx’ journey has defined so much of my career and I’m thrilled with the recognition it continues to receive, especially from such a respected group of critics. I know I’m speaking for the entire cast and crew of the ‘Emma Marx’ series, that it’s a true honor and privilege to be nominated. Thank you, XRCO.”
“The Submission of Emma Marx: Evolved” is coming off wins for Best Actress and Best Screenplay at the 2018 XBIZ Awards. Collectively, the “Emma Marx” series has won four XRCO awards, two Nightmoves awards, six XBIZ awards, and 10 AVN awards, including wins for Best BDSM Movie for the original “The Submission of Emma Marx” and its first sequel “The Submission of Emma Marx: Boundaries.”
Digital Sin received a Best Girl/Girl Series nomination for “The Lesbian Experience,” an artistically produced line of high-end lesbian erotica, exploring a variety of adult themes and featuring today’s most beautiful stars and newcomers. The series launched in May of 2016 and features works by award-winning directors Jacky St. James, Paul Woodcrest, and Eddie Powell.
“The support this series has received from fans and critics alike has always been extremely rewarding and it’s a great honor to have it recognized by the members of the XRCO,” Eddie Powell said. “Of course, what we do couldn’t be achieved without the enthusiasm our talent brings to the table and we are grateful to them for that dedication.”
