We know that awards season is upon us when Wicked Pictures drops a big, beautiful movie like this. From the box cover art to the cast, Carnal looks like another home run for Brad Armstrong and jessica drake. If you are going to make a pretty, theme-driven flick there are few leading ladies who can compare to Ms. drake. While I often praise her acting skills in features, she is also a stunningly beautiful woman who can easily carry a high end eye candy project. That is the case here. The movie is great looking from start to finish. Hats off to everyone involved in the production. The sets, costume and make up are absolutely stunning. Can’t praise those folks enough this time around. The art direction, music and editing are impeccable as well. With all the praise-worthy technical aspects, you might be wondering about the sex. It’s pretty damn good. Not surprisingly, it is hottest when jesscia is involved. The two scenes without the star are pretty good as well. Both of them have very specific looks and appeal. Lily Lane and Karmen RX go heavy on the fetish action with Small Hands. The five-girl Asian lesbian scene is stylistically brilliant. The makeup and wardrobe are as stunning as the female talent. The three jessica drake scenes stand out for different reasons. The opener is a beautifully shot threesome on a set that perfectly accentuates the action it hosts. jessica herself is gorgeous energetic and displays all of the star quality we have come to expect. Her second effort is a slick, gorgeous group scene that combines steam punk sensibilities with sexual action that features jessica and Angela White. You know how hot that is bound to be. Mercedes Carrera also shines in this one. The finale is beautifully edited and one of the most original scenes I have seen in years. jessica takes on three performers, but does so one at a time. The way they are edited together to look like the same character is really unique. It is such a visual masterpiece that it almost steals the thunder from the fact that it’s a three on one interracial tryst with some trans action for jessica. Overall this is a gorgeous piece of eye candy that is incredibly well put together and features some memorable sex scenes. High marks all around
