Earlier this week I reviewed Wicked’s big release “Carnal” and found it to be pretty fantastic. This one is also impressive and award-worthy, but it is a different beast. Camgirl is a traditional XXX feature with a tight script, really good acting performance and some serious emotional moments. Kristen Scott plays the title character. She is a beautiful young single mom who works hard at school, tries to provide for her baby and is an extremely popular cam model to make sure the bills get paid. As one might imagine, it isn’t always an easy balance. It is made worse when her boyfriend (Played exceptionally well by Lucas Frost) goes full asshole on her. He turns her world upside down and the performances from all of the players express genuine dread and emotional turmoil. Before I spend too much time on the story and acting, let’s look at the sex scenes. They are good thanks to an attractive cast, but there are some nice touches to add to the action. They do a nice job with editing of the cam scenes. Rather than just showing the action they include on screen graphics that simulate actual cam chat. This is a nice touch that makes this movie stand out. We get to see Kristen do a hot solo scene and then enjoy as Angela White” rel=”noopener” target=”_blank”>Angela White joins the fun for a smoking lesbian show. Kristen also hooks up with Lucas in a car and then later in a full scene with Small Hands. She carries the action sexually as well as providing an award-worthy acting performance. Along with Angela’s great scene, the supporting cast adds a lot of heat. This is one of the best features with one of the best scripts of 2018. Kristen needs a nomination for her acting performance.
