Girlfriends Films Scores XRCO Nominations
Girlfriends Films and GFF Distribution partner studios honored with multiple XRCO Awards nominations
VALENCIA, CA (November 12, 2020) – Nominees for the upcoming XRCO Awards presented by the X-Rated Critics Organization were announced via remotely produced video. The eligibility period ran from January 2019 to December 2019. Among the honorees were two nominations to leading all-girl adult film studio Girlfriends Films for Best Girl/Girl Series. A handful of studios distributed by GFF Distribution were nominated in several categories.
The announcement was presented online exclusively at the AVN Stars website. Filmed remotely, the pre-recorded video presentation featured top stars in the industry including Hall of Fame inductee Angela White and many new and familiar faces. Some of the starlets contributing to the production included Tanya Tate, Lexi Luna, Britney Amber, Jada Kai, Lauren Phillips, Alex Coal, Gianna Dior, Val Dodds, Jillian Janson, Ember Snow, Katie Morgan, Kenzie Madison, Dani Daniels, and Girl/Girl Performer of the Year co-presenters Kit Mercer and Sarah Vandella.
In the Best Girl/Girl Series category, Girlfriends Films was recognized with nominations for Cheer Squad Sleepovers and the studio’s flagship series, the most awarded series in the history of adult films, Women Seeking Women.
Girlfriends Films director, writer, and performer Serene Siren was nominated Girl/Girl Performer of the Year. Additional nominees In the same category consist entirely of past and present Girlfriends performers including: Serena Blair, Jayden Cole, Carter Cruise, Charlotte Stokely, Darcie Dolce, Shyla Jennings, Scarlett Sage, and Jenna Sativa. Several Girlfriends actresses were also recognized in the Female Performer of the Year, Best Actress, New Starlet, Teen Dream, Unsung Siren, and MILF of the Year categories.
Studios distributed by GFF Distribution were honored across the board with nominations in a variety of categories. Girlfriends Films Distribution nominees for this year’s XRCO Awards include: Best Release and Best Actor (Zac Wild), The Gentleman, MissaX; Best Comedy, Gina Valentina’s Dirty Little Movie, Penthouse; Best Gonzo Series, Bang Bus, Bang Bros and James Deen’s Sex Tapes, James Deen; Best Ongoing Blended Series, Brown Bunnies, Bang Bros; Star Showcase and Best Girl/Girl Series, Angela Loves Women 5, AGW.
