Bracket Busted
And Then There Were 2
OK so there is still one game to play, but my bracket is officially busted. I only did one bracket this year over on ESPN. Usually I do so poorly that by the end of the first two days I am long out the running. That wasn’t the case this year. In fact by the time we got to the Sweet 16, I still have 15 teams alive. (Wake Forest screwed up a perfect 16 for me.) I should have written about it then and just quietly left it at that.
Thanks to Duke, Xavier and Kansas, three of my Elite 8 teams were watching from the sidelines and the bracket was starting to fall apart. I did even worse in the next round with only UConn making it. Since they were my eventually champs, my bracket finally went belly up.
I went from the 97th percentile at the Sweet 16 to the 46th percentile now. Quite a fall. Oh well, there is always next year. Now it’s time for fantasy baseball.
