Happy Birthday Serenity

Gorgeous Superstar Turns…..

Happy birthday to one of the hottest women in the history of adult movies. Former Wicked contract star Serenity turns….do we say it….40 today. I have really fond memories for Serenity and her husband. She won two of the first three RogReviews.com Fan Faves polls and until Jenna Haze went on her recent run was the only woman to win the award twice. She was (and I am sure still is) a stunningly beautiful woman who could light up a screen or a room with just a smile. She could also debate your ear off. I remember once getting into it with her for two hours about animals and their lack of emotions. (We were both very drunk at the time.)

She and Steve were always very kind and helped me in a lot of ways. Without their support I might never have broken down the walls at the feature companies. (It wasn’t easy to get Wicked or Vivid to pay attention to one guy with a little web site who didn’t heap praise on everything mainstream porn companies put out.) Serenity also got my biggest script (Guilty Pleasures) green lighted at Wicked and did a great job as the lead. Even more importantly, they were always good friends. I kept in touch with them while they had their toy company and always liked talking with them. Steve and I share an affinity for the Boston Celtics and I think I’ve finally forgiven him for bailing out on me on that trip to Sacramento all those years ago to see the C’s play. We have lost touch over the years. Last I heard they had just had their first child (about a year after my first son was born as I recall.) and I think I heard that she had another. Her web site doesn’t seem to be working, but I know she was still updating it recently.

So to you Serenity, the woman I used to call “The Beautiful One” Happy Birthday. I hope that you and yours are doing well and that you have found as much success after porn as you did during and then some. You are missed on screen, but just as much your smile and support are missed by someone who is proud to call you friend.
