As I make my way through the Best Comedy nominees, I am struck by how different these movies really are. Their humor comes from different places and it makes it a challenge to pick the very best. This award-nominated comedy gets most of its chuckles from the “free use” setting in which it takes place. It takes place in an office and is a basic little workplace romance with the nerdy guy trying to get the girl. The thing is, everyone around them is fucking their way through every meeting and using desktops like by the hour motel beds. The version I watched was very much like a feature, but there are longer versions of the sex scenes on their site. Some of those sex scenes are really good. The shorter versions leave something to be desired in terms of heat. I really like Penelope Kay so I wanted more from her than I got from the feature version. She is really good and I enjoyed the longer sex scenes on the site. For laughs, the scene with Charley fucking his HR rep while she gives him dating advice is worth a few chuckles. I’d say watch this if you want a taste of free use sex with some decent laughs and then pick your favorite scene and watched the extended version.
