Adult Time Debuts Casey Calvert’s Hotly-Anticipated Girlsway Film, SPUN, on July 25
(Montreal, QC / July 25, 2024) — Adult Time announces the official rollout of brand Ambassador Casey Calvert’s eagerly-awaited feature film for Girlsway, SPUN – available for streaming exclusively for AdultTime.com members starting July 25.
The ‘Y2K-inspired dramedy’ starring Chanel Camryn in her debut feature release, frames its focus on, according to writer/director Calvert, “an unrequited crush and finally getting the one that got away” and includes an all-star lineup of Adult Time fan favorites Electra Rayne, Dana Vespoli, Lauren Phillips, Freya Parker, Maya Woulfe, Lulu Chu, Liz Jordan and Alexis Tae, as well as Adult Time Chief Creative Officer Bree Mills in a brief appearance.
“Writing and directing Spun was a really great challenge for me. With this being the first Girlsway feature since 2020, I wanted to get as many of the fan favorite moments into the script as possible while still ending up with something that felt like a Casey Calvert film. Once I had a script I was happy with, directing the film was a whole other set of hurdles. Shooting a film with this many girls over this many days was so much fun, but so much work, especially because I also really wanted to focus on not just story, but aesthetics. I wanted this film to feel like a 90s summer comedy with fun clothes and colors that pop, and I’m so happy with how it turned out. My entire cast and crew worked so hard, and I think we nailed it. I know the fans have been calling for a return to features on Girlsway, and I really hope Spun satisfies their need for hot lesbian, story-driven sex!” Said Casey Calvert.
Calvert’s directing showcase signals a satisfying return to Girlsway’s filmmaking origins – the star’s 2020 comedy smash Cougar Queen was the premium lesbian studio’s last feature-length outing – and also includes a special nod to many of Girlsway’s most popular onscreen themes.
“When Casey joined our ambassador program this year, I immediately asked her to take on the challenge of writing and directing this film.” Added Mills. “She has always been a mainstay with the brand, both as a performer and director, so this was a natural choice for me. I’m proud to see this level of production return to our flagship lesbian studio!”
