There are a few questions I am asked over and over again. Many of them are covered in the FAQ on this site, but when readers ask me who I would most like to interview, I have trouble. The answer to that one changes quite often. New people come into the industry all the time and once in a while I come up with an interview from my most-wanted list. With all of this in mind and having just returned from AEE, here is my current top 10 most wanted interviews for 2004.
10. Haven/Jenna Haze/Ashton Moore/Cindy Crawford: The JKP Girls have eluded me for years and I think that needs to change. I was around when Haven got into the biz and I still haven’t interviewed her. Jenna is long overdue for a second interview and both Ashton and Cindy are way to hot to have gotten away for so long. It’s time to finally to the girls of Jill Kelly Productions.
9. Jules Jordan: We did one last year, but this year I plan to actually finish one this year. Lots of great things to talk about this year so we’ll have to work something out.
8. Bridgette/Skeeter Kerkove: It is about time for a sit down with one or both members of one of porn’s power couples. I tried to get one or both in Vegas, but couldn’t track them down.
7. Joey Silvera: He is one of the most interesting directors in porn and before that he was one of the best actors this industry has ever seen. I see this one as a great chance to get an inside look into one of the most intriguing guys in XXX.
6. Tera Patrick: A lot has changed since we did our first interview a few years ago. I would love to find out her side of the story, see what’s up with Evan, if she will be doing girls and of course why the hell she ever messed with her boobs.
5. Seymore Butts: I’ve been after this one for years and almost had it about a year ago. My contacts are gone now, but I keep hoping I’ll get to talk to him. With all the mainstream press he’s gotten it might be tough. But I would still like to talk to him about his movies, the women he’s brought into the biz and of course the epic return from legal troubles that has him back on top.
4. Kaylani Lei: Not only would she be my first Wicked contract girl since Serenity, but she would also be one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever interviewed. I’m sure this one is a long shot, but she is this high on the list because I personally think that she is just an awesome performer.
3. Max Hardcore: I know he’s got serious issues with me. As one of only three people who have ever actually banned me from a screener list I would love to get Max’s take on censorship, artistic expression and his place in porn history. I’m sure he has a lot to say about his detractors, fans, imitators and even his legal troubles throughout the years.
2. John Leslie: Ever since I got to interview John Stagliano, there has been no other film maker I have wanted to interview more than Mr. Leslie. He’s a brilliant director, a legendary performer and he will remain at the top of the list until I land this interview.
1. Jenna Jameson: Other people have interviewed her and I’ve come close but we have never put it together. She is the biggest star this industry has ever known and I’m putting her at the top of my 2004 wish list.
