10 Memorable Halloween Costumes (In No Particular Order)
Batman- (Age 4 or so) OK so it was kind of a pajama looking thing, but it was all I wanted to be that year and it was the first costume I remember wearing.
Cop (Age 15 or so) Dad’s old uniform, some leather gloves and mirrored shades and I was styling.
Convict- (Age 8 or so) Stripped outfit and a plastic ball and chain.
R2D2- (Age 11 or so) Some poster board, paint, duct tape, a metal bowl and spray painted silver boots and I was quite the robot. One of my best costumes ever, but during an exploding piƱata incident, I fell and couldn’t get up.
Punk Rocker (Age 14 or so) Spiked orange hair, a bike lock for a belt, camouflage bandana and all the punk buttons I could fit onto my God Save the Queen t-shirt.
Baseball Player- (Age 21 or so) Work wanted us to dress up so I pulled out the uniform, bought a new hat, blacked up the eyes and was all set.
Huck Finn- (Age 12 or so) Cut off jeans, a stick fishing pole and freckles. Never and I mean NEVER let mom come up with a last minute costume.
Axl Rose- (Age 23 or so) A torn t-shirt, leather jacket, bicycle shorts, head band and of course a bottle of Jack. Damn, having long hair was fun.
Paul McCarney- (Age 16 or so) Dyed black hair, a guitar and matching outfits with four other guys.
Cheerleader- (Age 17) My one and only shot at drag. Little sister’s skirt (With shorts underneath) her tight sweater stuffed with socks, a blonde wig and that was all it took. I was the ugliest cheerleader in history and the one photo that exists of this event is kept under lock and key.
