Thanks to some good voter turn out and some interesting get out the vote campaigns, round one was a great success.
Here are some of the breakdowns.
Best Female Performer
Last year’s winner Jenna Jameson staged a late week rally to pass Sunrise Adams and finish second in Bracket One. Belladonna took first place with just under 29% of the vote.
Gauge crushed the competition in bracket two, pulling in over 43% and beating second place Alexa Rae by 28%. Alexa was a bit of a surprise, rallying late to overcome hot rookie Jessie J.
Bracket three gave us Monica Sweetheat defeating the always tough Silvia Saint. Shyla Stylz came in a distant third as this bracket was dominated by the Euro-babes
Bracket four was a laugher for Aurora Snow who was the only person in any poll to grab better than 50% of the vote. A last day rally put Houston shockingly into the second round over Buttwoman Layla Jade.
These four brackets combine into two for Round Two. First place finishers Belladonna and Monica Sweetheart will square off with second place finishers Alexa Rae and Houston. Look for the favorites to stay on top in this one. The other bracket will be the power match up of round two. First round big winners Gauge and Auora Snow face off with Jenna and Silvia. Will the new meat win out over the vets?
Bracket five had Flick Shagwell as a surprise top finisher and two time winner of this award Serenity finishing in second place.
A tight three way race in Bracket six had Tera Patrick and April advancing while Taylor St. Claire just missed out.
Jenna Haze pulled in nearly 40$ of the vote in Bracket seven while Brianna Banks advanced over a strong field of contenders.
Bracket Eight was nicely balanced and had Miko Lee winning with Sky Lopez in second. Stephanie Swift and last year’s runner up Alana Evans finished behind.
Round Two will bring us Flick Shagwell, Jenna Haze, April and Sky in one bracket while Tera Patrick, Miko See, Serenity and Brianna Banks duke it out in the other.
There were few surprises in the other polls as most of the favorites advanced. Last year’s Best Male Performer Lexington Steele easily won his bracket as did last year’s Best Director Jules Jordan. Anabolic moved on to defend the crown for Best Company while Red Light District showed great promise in moving on. Two time champ Britney Spears continued to be out Most Wanted Celebrity, but could be in for a fight if she faces Anna Kournikova down the road.
