Skullgame.com Sponsors Fight Phenoms Jake Shields, Gil Melendez
Stanford, CA – Aug 05, 2005 SkullGame Sports Management, the same SkullGame of the always-abusive, consistently irreverent Skullgame.com , is making its full on push into the world of fighter management.
Jake Shields (11-4 -1) and Gilbert Melendez (9-0-0), two 23-year old mixed martial artists/cage fighting phenoms, recently signed with the adult enterprise and are scheduled to make their televised debuts while fighting in Tokyo on August 20.
The August 20th broadcast will bow on Japanese Network Television, as well as North American cable television. Taking on two tough competitors in Rumina Sato for Melendez and Hayato Sakarai for Shields, the fight is expected to draw some 2 million viewers worldwide. Sponsorship opportunities are still available.
SKULLGAME.COM is to sex, exploitation and media gossip, what The Onion is to solid news reporting. Founded by an editorial talent pool that includes writers from Hustler, Vice, Rolling Stone, Playboy, Raygun, Grappling, LA Weekly and so on, SkullGame features some of the most humorously acidic abuse this side of porn and that side of American’s obsession with celebrity culture. And loads. But mostly loads.
