DIGITAL PLAYGROUND’S MONUMENTAL YEAR IN SALES CULMINATES IN 67 AVN NOMINATIONS FOR 2012

Blockbuster features “Top Guns” and “Fighters” receive top nominations

December 13, 2011 — VAN NUYS, Calif. — Digital Playground receives 67 AVN Award nominations for the 2012 AVN awards season. Always setting its sights high, the production house outdoes itself in nominations from the 2011 awards season. Most notably, two of Digital Playground features, “Fighters” and “Top Guns” lead the company’s numbers with 11 nods for “Fighters” and “Top Guns” receiving 9.

Digital Playground received nominations in several key categories and in many instances is nominated multiple times in each class. Digital Playground’s Robby D. receives several nominations such as Director of the Year for his Body of Work as well as Best Director – Feature for “Fighters” and Best Director Parody for “Top Guns”.

Director Kay Brandt is nominated in some very prestigious categories at the awards show as well. She is nominated for Best Director – Feature and Best Screenplay for Cherry. Digital Playground’s JewelBox Films is nominated as Best New Line and has several nods to add to the companies impressive roster for this awards show.

Digital Playground’s contract stars claimed a total of 16 individual nominations including
Female Performer of the Year and Best Supporting Actress for both Jesse Jane® and Kayden Kross. Riley Steele™ and Stoya received nominations for their amazing sex scenes. Both of Digital Playground’s newest contract stars, BiBi Jones™ and Selena Rose™ are nominated for Starlet of Year.
