MIRACLE ON THE 17th GREEN:
JESSICA DRAKE & CARMEN HART Of WICKED PICTURES Swing Into Action At THE SKYLAR NEIL MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT
LOS ANGELES CA / SACRAMENTO CA – (MAY 3, 2006 DMPR) – For most thriller fans, author James Patterson’s name is synonymous with slick Hollywood thrillers like KISS THE GIRLS and ALONG CAME A SPIDER. But while it didn’t quite score a literary home run in sales, diehard buffs still insist their favorite work by this publishing icon is MIRACLE ON THE 17th GREEN, his change-of-pace sports fantasy about a middle-aged amateur golfer who decides to try out for the PGA Senior Tour after getting caught up in a divinely inspired streak of great putting.
While there may not be anything supernatural going down on the green this Friday, May 5th, some lucky golf enthusiasts will be experiencing paradise of a different kind when JESSICA DRAKE and CARMEN HART of Canoga Park-based WICKED PICTURES go live at LOST CANYONS GOLF CLUB, 3301 Lost Canyon Drive, Simi Valley, California, to support THE 10th ANNUAL SKYLAR NEIL MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT, a charity event created by Motley Crue lead vocalist VINCE NEIL in honor of his late daughter Skylar, and benefitting the T.J. Martell Foundation For Leukemia, Cancer, And AIDS Research.
Appearing on behalf of Wicked Pictures (which is also proudly supporting the event in an official capacity as a Flag Sponsor), jessica and Carmen will be meeting and greeting their fans, handing out Wicked hats, T-shirts, and other promotional items, and pressing the flesh with the many other celebrities in attendance.
This marks the second high-profile mainstream media event for drake in as many weeks, as the leggy blonde just returned from Sacramento CA where she met with legislators and assemblymen at the state capitol as part of the FREE SPEECH COALITION’s CELEBRATE FREE SPEECH LOBBYING DAYS. Rapidly establishing herself as a permanent fixture of mainstream Hollywood, this ambitious veteran of the entertainment scene has appeared in such magazines as PREMIERE, CHORD, and back-to-back issues of STUFF, been profiled on HBOÕs PORNUCOPIA, done live radio interviews with heavy metal legends ANTHRAX, participated in a photo essay commissioned by the UN, danced on-stage with KID ROCK at the Hollywood Bowl, worked on the FOX TV series SKIN, and captured the attention of everyone from DAVID LETTERMAN to VH1 with her legendary Grammy Awards appearance.
A popular guest on top-rated East Coast radio station WXQR FM, Carmen has quickly become a fixture at LA’s most prestigious entertainment events as well, strutting her stuff down the red carpet at the Night Of A Hundred Stars Oscar bash before creating another media frenzy at SHOW Magazine’s invitation-only Hollywood launch party just three days later! And earlier this year, Carmen made adult headlines across the country at the 2006 Miss Nude Pageant, where she faced off against twelve of the finest ladies in adult entertainment before winning not only the title honor, but two additional awards in the Best Body and Best Dancer categories as well.
One of Rock & Roll’s most enduring entertainers, Vince Neil developed the SKYLAR NEIL MEMORIAL FOUNDATION in memory of his daughter Skylar, who passed away from cancer in 1995. Since that time, Vince and the organization have endeavored to help raise awareness and much needed funding for various childrenÕs illnesses. Over the past decade, the Skylar Neil Memorial Foundation has donated over one million dollars to The T.J. Martell Foundation. The T.J. Martell Foundation is dedicated to raising funds for ongoing research into the treatments and cures of leukemia, cancer and AIDS.
So don’t miss jessica and Carmen as they support this most worthy of causes Friday out on the green in Simi Valley. While they may not erase Lee Trevino or Tiger Woods from a hardcore golf enthusiast’s memory, these lovely ladies score a hole-in-one every time when it comes to grace, style, and wit.
