Way back in the 1980’s there was no bigger show on TV than Dallas. The night time soap opera so engrossed the nation that “Who shot JR?” became part of our pop lexicon. This XXX parody is part soap opera and part comedy. It would be tough to do something this overwrought without a few chuckles. The cast is pretty good both sexually and with delivering lines. Eric Masterson and James Deen play JR and Bobby Ewing, a couple of feuding oil tycoon brothers who are constantly at odds over business, ethics and women. I didn’t watch Dallas so I don’t know how much of this story comes from actual episodes, but it all feels legit. The women in this movie are very good. That helps the thing sexually. It is still a feature and still fits with the Adam & Eve sensibility, but there is not a lack of heat. India Summer, Bobbi Starr and Brooklyn Lee are all quiet sexy in their scenes.
