Fantasy Football Week 3 Wrap Up: Let the Separation Begin
Once again the job of blogging about our three RogReviews.com Fantasy Football leagues falls on me. I swear, it’s like I write for a living or something y’all. It’ not that hard. Come on, I can do it. At any rate, week three some serious separation in all three leagues. With only ten weeks to go, some teams may be getting a little desperate. Perhaps this will spark some serious trade talks in the league as teams try not to fall impossibly behind.
Before I continue with the update, the usual disclaimer: We are always looking for eye candy and cheerleaders for our league. Send over a picture or two and I’ll post it along with links to your site, cam page or whatever. In fact, the link below to Streamate has plenty of cam models. This is an open request to any cam model who wants to be added to our fantasy football updates to send something in.
RogReviews.com League 1: As week three ended, one unbeaten team remained. The defending champs rolled again as Rog’s Potatoes used Cam Newton’s 28 point outburst to beat the South Beach Dy-Nasty 137-43. Not all the games were so one-sided. Bono’s Jada Stevens team took down previously unbeaten Ginger Lynn Classics 87-74. Devinn Lane’s Balling Club also took home a 3 point win, keeping Cody Bangs’ Tanner Amayezing winless. A big week from DeMarco Murry help Ed’s team rack up a league high 139 points for his first win of the year. Week four features Rog taking on Cody as the league’s last unbeaten takes on the last winless squad.
RogReviews.com League 2: A big Monday night performance by Pittsburgh’s Antino Brown, led Team Yeung to a 122-112 win over Sheldon’s previously unbeaten ASSassins. That leaves only Al’s Beach Stars without a loss. Al took care of the other undefeated team with a 118-99 win over the juicers. Natalie Dawn rode Lesean McCoy’s 23 points to send the Isners to the league’s only 0-3 record while Bono and Rog did the unthinkable, playing to a 67-67 tie. It was an ugly affair with Rog being led by 21 points from his defense and Bono getting a team high 17 points from his kicker.
2008 RogReviews.com League: Week three featured a battle of unbeatens in this league. Astro’s Knights put up a whopping 164 points in a 68 point beat down of the Memphis Madness. The league’s other unbeaten team, Aly’s Powner survived a scare to keep the Wolfpack winless. The matchups this week will go a long way from separating the contenders from the pretenders as everyone chases the two top teams.
That’s all for this week. Anyone who feels like writing a wrap up of the three leagues is welcome to step in. We are also looking for any eye candy that ANYONE wants to send in. We will promote you, your site or anything. Just fire it over.
