Care Package, Updates & Stuff
Thank You:
Most of you know that my mom was in the hospital last week for a rather significant cancer surgery. Thank you all for the good wishes and prayers. I really appreciate them. For the sake of update let me say that my mother is doing very well right now. She’s in quite a bit of pain which is to be expected. She game through her surgery well and the doctors found no evidence that the cancer has spread. So it appears as if she will make a full recovery in time. Once again, thank you all.
Nautica Thorn:
Still no word from Nautica on why she would reject MySpace friend requests from me and others who followed the link they sent us. I would say that it’s just a mistake, but I tried three times this weekend and was rejected all three times. I still don’t know what I could have done to offend Nautica. I did hear from quite a few people who said may have given me some clues though. It’s quite possible that I have done something to someone over at TeraVision to put me on a shit list of some sort. I hope that isn’t the case because I still think Nautica is one of the single best reasons to love porn these days. Hopefully it’s just a mix up, but it would be nice if someone could explain why they would expect me to post a release and then do something so petty. Then again, it’s just MySpace so it’s not worth getting too worked up over.

Care Package Update:
Last week I posted about the care package I’m putting together for a Unit of Marines serving in Iraq. I am pleased to announce that I heard back right away from three people who pledged some help. My good friend Tod Hunter (www.Tod-Hunter.net) said that he would pass the word around. I also heard from Brandon Iron who got me in touch with Larry from Red Light and there is a box of stuff from RLD/PXP/Brandon on its way. Thanks guys. To anyone else reading this…we could still use some more stuff. We have quite a few DVDs so if anyone has a line on some T-shirts, hats or maybe some signed pictures for the men in uniform, that would be great. (So pass this along to every performer you know and see if they are willing to add to the care package.)
