Will Ryder is back with another original XXX feature that is sure to garner some major awards. It is a nice blend of suspense and horror that puts it in a category of its own. What could possibly go wrong? The tension is very good and there are a few genuine scares along the way. The acting is really good throughout. Armstrong and Reid are particularly strong. Riley does a great job of playing a sweet looking girl who is clearly hiding something dark and scary behind those big doe eyes. I loved the script and the way the movie is placed. It has mainstream sensibilities and will certainly be talked about at awards time for all of these reasons. Sexually the movie starts out really strong. It fades a bit as the story takes over, but there are some great feature sex scenes. Misty Stone looks as beautiful as ever. She puts on a hot cam show that sets the bar pretty high. Riley has her one sex scene in the middle of the movie. It is very energetic and looks fantastic. I am surprised we did not see her again and the overall heat suffers from too little of the movie’s female lead. Sarah Vandella also pops in for a very hot scene. She is always fantastic. The movie is good sexually, but not as consistently good as it is as a feature. Hey, we can’t have everything. This is a well written, tense adult film with fine acting, a pretty cast, some really good sex scenes and just the right amount of weirdness to make it truly stand out.
