September 28, 2010 — VAN NUYS, Calif. — Digital Playground, the world leader in adult filmmaking and interactive media, is pleased to introduce Kay Brandt as the newest member of their creative development team. Brandt is a 20-year, film industry professional with a multi -faceted background in business, development and production. She owned a profitable Theatre company in Los Angeles, created and developed interactive concepts for major mainstream film studios, produced independent features with A-List directors attached and was the head of acquisitions for the media division of a Venture Capital firm.
In 2009, she was offered the opportunity to become the lead writer/director for a successful adult film company, Girlfriends Films. Having a passion for true erotica and quality adult filmmaking, working with the company gave her first hand experience in the art of making premium niche products, and not simply adult films. Within a few months of joining the respected and top ranking company, she gained a large following of dedicated fans.
Brandt says, “I couldn’t be more excited about finally getting to work exclusively for the incredible filmmaker, Joone and brilliant business woman, Samantha Lewis. After more than a decade of me and Joone seeking out mutual projects to work on together, we’ve found a great opportunity to actually make it happen. The timing was perfect for both of us.
