GEORGE KAPLAN – JULY PRESS RELEASE

Visionary director MICHAEL NINN tapped GEORGE KAPLAN once again to write additional voice over script for his upcoming NINN WORX / PURE PLAY MEDIA release EUROTOPIA: AN AMERICAN IN EUROPE starring JODIE MOORE and NICK MANNING. Shot on location in Budapest, it’s the story of a young embassy worker (MOORE), away from home for the first time, who becomes seduced by a dark-souled artist (MANNING), who introduces her to the darker side of lust. AVN Award winning actress TINA TYLER will be adding her vocal talents to the project, the first of a two-parter. Look for it soon. Kaplan was also tapped by Ninn Worx to do their monthly press releases.

Kaplan recently dropped by the set of BUD LEE’s “AFTER MIDNIGHT” for a visit and was pressed into service as an extra, playing another Bartender for the Sin City production starring AURORA SNOW, AVA VINCENT and KURT LOCKWOOD. He’s also just completed work on “TRUE POWER” a drama for Bud Lee and Sin City.

Kaplan’s also been “collaborating”, after a fashion, on projects originally written by ANTHONY CRANE, who has time on his hands to write. So far, through the auspices of SKYE BLUE and DIGITAL BLUE, Kaplan has completed four projects, rewriting and formatting Crane’s highly imaginative works. “Crane and I have always had a great rapport and imaginative partnership. It’s always fun to delve into his slightly twisted imagination,” says Kaplan.

Kaplan will be reprising a new character for CASH MARKMAN’s next project, shooting 7/23. The character is based on a legendary “great” comedian of the golden age of television.
