Ricky Greenwood Dominates the 2025 XBIZ XMAs with 56 Nominations
(Hollywood, CA) Once again, multi-award-winning French Canadian adult director and writer Ricky Greenwood has dominated awards season with many nominations from XBIZ. He, his casts, and crews scored an impressive 56 XMA nominations.
Last week, XBIZ announced the 2025 XMA nominees at a red-carpet star-studded event at Sound in the heart of Hollywood, CA. Ricky Greenwood attended and was happy that his hard work this year paid off, and his name was called out many times during the night, including for the top honors of Director of the Year – Body of Work (Narrative) and Director of the Year – Trans Works.
Ricky’s Digital Playground flick “Dirty Cops” scored the most nods with 10, including Best Feature and Director of the Year – Individual Work, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction, and Best Editing. Jennifer White scored a Best Acting – Lead and Nicole Kitt Best Acting – Supporting nods. The film also garnered Best Sex Scene – Feature Movie and Best Sex Scene – Orgy/Group noms.
His Digital Playground Western “Gold Diggers” grabbed nine nominations, including Best Feature Movie, Director of the Year – Individual Work, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, and Best Art Direction. Scott Nails scored Best Acting – Lead and Kimmy Granger received Best Acting – Supporting nominations. The film also garnered a scene work nom for Best Sex Scene – Feature Movie.
Ricky’s Digital Playground Futuristic sci-fi film Project X also nabbed nine nominations, including Best Feature Movie, Director of the Year – Individual Work, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, and Best Art Direction. Cherie DeVille scored a Best Acting – Lead and Tommy Pistol a Best Acting – Supporting nomination. The film also snagged a Best Sex Scene – Feature Movie nod.
Ricky’s Dorcel feature film “Amuse Bouche,” which did more than awaken the palate, scored seven nominations for Best Feature Movie, Director of the Year – Individual Work, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, and Best Editing. Cast members were also rewarded for their stellar performances—Lumi Ray snagged Best Acting – Lead and Nathan Bronson garnered Best Acting – Supporting noms.
Ricky’s Dorcel musical “Alive” was also recognized and some impressive scored noms for Best Feature Movie Director of the Year – Individual Work, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, and Best Editing. Victoria Voxxx is up for Best Acting – Lead and Chad Alva for Best Acting – Supporting. The film also received a Best Sex Scene – All-Girl nod.
Additionally, Ricky’s non-feature work was recognized. “Jane Doe: A Ricky Greenwood Spotlight” from Pure Taboo snagged Best Featurette and Best Sex Scene – Featurette noms. TransSensual’s “Steamy TS Hookups” and “TS Girls on Top 8” were nommed for Best Trans Movie. AllHerLuv’s “Erotic Premonitions” garnered a Best Sex Scene – All-Girl nom. “Preserving Our Lifestyle” and “Earning Her Badges” from Pure Taboo both scored Best Sex Scene – Featurette. Dorcel’s “Climax 4” received a Best Sex Scene – Orgy/Group nod. And three of Ricky’s TransSensual scenes, “The Winning Bid,” “My TS Stepsister 9,” and “TS Girls on Top 8,” scored Best Sex Scene – Trans nominations.

The XMAs are set to take place on Sunday, January 19th, at the historic Hollywood Palladium.
