ORANGE COUNTY (CA) – Premiere adult video producers, ANABOLIC VIDEO PRODUCTIONS, INC. and DIABOLIC VIDEO PRODUCTIONS, INC., seeking to stop sales of counterfeit DVD’s and videos were in attendance as law enforcement officials served search warrants to six Orange County locations suspected of violating copyright and piracy laws. The multi-jurisdictional Law Enforcement Task Force included but was not limited to the Orange county regional Gang enforcement team, U.S. Customs Service, Internal Revenue Service, Federal bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, U.S. Immigration and Naturalization service, the Orange County District Attorney’s Office and the Westminster police dept.; representatives of VCA Pictures, Microsoft, Symantec, the Motion Pictures Association of America (MPAA) and the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) participated in the effort.
All participated in the gathering of evidence which culminated in the serving of search warrants involving six Orange County locations. Over 70 federal and local law enforcement officers were involved in the coordinated, simultaneous effort.
Representatives of ANABOLIC VIDEO PRODUCTIONS, INC. and DIABOLIC VIDEO PRODUCTIONS, INC., are currently involved in lawsuits relating to violations of the copyright and trademark of ANABOLIC and DIABOLIC DVD’s. There is evidence to suggest that the current lawsuit is associated with the events that transpired last Sunday.
ANABOLIC and DIABOLIC have a ‘ZERO TOLERANCE’ policy against anyone suspected of infringing its copyrights or trademarks by pirating or counterfeiting its DVD’s, VHS tapes, and Internet content. In addition, ANABOLIC and DIABOLIC are currently engaged in fine-tuning their own taskforce to actively pursue criminal and civil legal action against suspected violators.
ANABOLIC and DIABOLIC applaud the Law Enforcement Officials who organized and coordinated this multi-jurisdictional effort and fully support their efforts to enforce piracy laws.
