When director Jordan Septo set out to make “Saturday Night Fever XXX: An Exquisite Films Parody,†he wanted to create something more than just another porn spoof. In the wake of the movie’s release, critics and consumers alike have recognized that commitment to excellence with high praise and chartbusting sales.
This three disc set from Exquisite is a really impressive piece of work. It’s a solid parody with a lot of appeal plus some great bonus material. The original was one of the biggest hits of the 70’s with a soundtrack that was nothing short of legendary. I have to admit that I’ve never seen Saturday Night Fever, though the soundtrack was the very first album I ever owned. (Not sure which of those nuggets is more embarrassing.)
